Can you get your Fuji cameras serviced?

So are you able to get your Fuji cameras serviced?

eg. where do you service a GSW690III?

Or a TX-2 ?

I got an email back from Fujifilm Canada that they don't work on the GSW690III, and I should ask Fujifilm USA.

He has worked on three Fuji GS645's for me.. new bellows and improve shutter linkage.
Three of the interchangeable lens "Texas" Leica's. rangefinder adjust, CLA, lens work, etc.
One AE100 auto exposure lens for the big GL690
One back LCD for the Fuji GA645 Zi (sourced new parts from Fuji)

He's the owner of Camera Wiz in Harrisburg W. VA.

No web site and not very responsive to e-mail, which doesn't bother me at all because he and I still have voices and the phones work on both ends. I just pick up and dial... 50/50 on getting through to him.

Fast, when he has the parts in stock, reasonable and 40 years experience, doing what he does.

Never a complaint from me. But, and I reiterate, don't bother to e-mail him. Unlike many of us, I don't think Frank necessarily thinks the computer is a good communication tool. Many days, I think he is "spot on" in that respect.

The big Fuji rangefinders in 590, ie the GW690 and the II and III models are about as far from Rocket Science as you can get.

No electronics
Simple Leaf shutter in lens.
Totally analog.
Routine film transport system

As long as a camera tech has a respectable reputation, just how familiar does he/she have to be with the Fujifilm line??

Frank is good, and even though he is on the right coast and I am on the left coast of the american continent, I still send my cameras to him.

However, I know that distance is an issue for some people, so there are probably any number of people who can CLA a Fuji rangefinder.

I too am on opposite coast from Camera Wiz, but Frank is the Fuji expert. Certainly many other techs across the country can CLA these too. The extra value for Frank is that if there's something broken, he has parts. That was the case with my GS645S, which is mostly plastic, and the lens mount was broken (unseen impact damage when I got it)... he had the part(s) and it got fixed. Respected local shops in Seattle had told me it was simply not repairable.

Via Japan Exposures, I had my Klasse fixed in Japan, no problems.
