Canada Canadian, eh?

I've come to the conclusion that Canadians, Aussies and Kiwis are a very similar bunch and although we seem to embrace a lot of US culture, as does all the world, we are very, very different to our US cousins.

A lot of people in this country were worried a few years ago that we were just becoming another state of the US ... it hasn't happened and it never will.

Long live the maple leaf! :)

I agree with you Keith. I had a chance to visit both Perth and Melbourne this past February and there are some definite similarities between us as a culture. I even managed to spend a few days in Yarram in Gipsland. Beautiful countryside. The rain forest in Tarra Bulga National Park was brilliant!

Yah, there should be a few Vancouver people here. I know Tom A. is also in Vancouver.

Been in Calgary for 10 years, but heading to Paris soon and then eventually home to Ottawa, but I won't be in much of a rush to leave Paris...

I lived in Brooks Alberta from 1976 to 1987 and those long winters are responsible for finding this great hobby:D still a american and now living in the states but my kids were born there and are quite proud of their dual citizenships

Hello from Southern Vancouver Island. Fled Calgary in 1978, couldn't take the brutal winters any longer.

Out this way people have been mowing lawns for a couple weeks. Lawns never stop growing here, they just slow up during the winter when it's too wet to mow.

Coast people don't tan, they rust, Eh.
