OK, but how does one get the exposed film out of the canister (to develop) without ruining the canister? I remember one brand of film that I could disassemble just like my reloadable canisters. That was some years ago; None of my current film brands seem to come apart so easily and I have to ruin the canister to get the film out.
I use the Dymo label maker tape. Just peel back the white backing paper, slip the sticky end through the felt and back-roll the film. Then reverse and wind it back into the canister. If the tape slips further inside, you've got it. So much easier for me than trying to figure out where the tip of the leader is in the canister and catch it with the leader retriever.

I collect stamps!
I don't think anyone around me at my age does anymore. But I have a strong passion for it and I have my father's and grandfather's collection too. They're just very nice to look at.![]()
