My 7500i was working fine on Windows 7 32 bits. However, I have now a new system that came with the 64 bits version. Since it has 6GB of RAM, I'd rather stay in 64 bits.
After installing QuickScan, it complains that SilverFast is not installed.
After installing SilverFast, QuickScan does not complain anymore, but never fully starts.
SilverFast does not find the scanner.
VueScan does not find the scanner either.
I installed the latest versions of the Plustek drivers, then the latest version of Silverfast (both downloaded from their respective web sites).
The scanner was not plugged in during intallation and reboots were made after each install.
No other hardware is giving me any trouble on this system. I have an Epson V750, Epson R2400, Wacom Intuos 2, GretagMacbeth EyeOne Pro and iPhone all plugged by USB and giving no problem.
Anyone had the same problem and managed to solve it?
