Last Night. Love how the point-source lit areas "glow".

Good Example - Look at the "can lights" on the floor (behind the synth player in the left image).

See the lens artifacts? That's what I am talking about.

I "tested" several 35mm lenses in the past, and one of them was a Canon 35/1.5. People here loved the images from that lens,and some were quite surprised that it did so well. I forgot who sent me that lens (was it you,Mark?). I then got such a lens. It is a very special lens.Mine flares when pointed at a light source, but it looks great.

I don't have the 50mm F1.5 (yet) but I do have the other two Canon F1.5 lenses. But I do love my 50mm F1.2

Agreed it completes the set. One thing I immediately notice from Mr. Li's photo, is how bluish the coatings are in the 50mm, compared to the later amber-colored coatings, on the later lenses.
