what's the filter size on your lens?
mine is 34mm but the canon museum says it should be 40 while the serenar version is 34.
mine clearly says canon, not serenar on it.

Yes, a very high price, and I wonder if the "winner" actually followed through on the purchase. The final £130 or so came as the winner and another bidder (both newbies with zero feedback) battled over it after a third contender dropped out. This winner put in 9 of the 26 bids (ego issue?). A happy seller if it did complete.
