Hello All,
Ive had this 35/1.5 for some time but don't use it much as it front focuses too much wide open and at shorter distances (where I'd like to use it). I've carefully measured this as 2" at 1yard, 5" at 3yards. By F2.8 it's a moot point. Has anyone had one calibrated for the above conditions on an M240 or other digital sensor? Does yours perform any better or worse than this?
The other issue is I can't get it open, it seems like a previous owner must have used red loctite on that central black lock ring (assuming it opens like Canon 50's). I've tried all the usual tricks :bang:
