Canon LTM Canon 7 Damaged Shutter Still Usable?

Hello!
I've been looking for a Canon rangefinder and found this Canon 7, but i'ts shutter curtain looks very damaged. I know that the shutter is almost never undamaged on these cameras, but this one seems excessive. Do you guys think it would still be usable/reliable?

That looks significantly worse than mine, but hard to tell the depth of the crinkles from the photo, and hard to know if it will perform perfectly without running some film through it. Might be perfectly okay, but would be nice to have return privileges, just in case.
It's not like it is a rare camera, and that one is your only option.

Should work no problemo. It isn't like the garbage cloth curtains in those crappy Leicas! 🙂

Metal shutter blinds have advantages - e.g less risk of burning a hole. But they have their problems. In particular it is sometimes hard to find one which has not had a clumsy owner at some stage who has put his thumb into the blind while loading film. So the crinkly shutter blind syndrome is very common. Good news is that it seldom causes issues in practice unless perhaps really severe.
