I have a Canon 7 and it is a great camera. I am wondering what can be put on the black skin to make it look newer since it is somewhat graying? I see cameras that have bright shiny black skin and they look teriffic. It is not torn or worn but I would love to make it look like new.

Hi...Congrats for your camera...I try a little bit of Pledge, rubbing a little with used toot brush, no grease feeling, and looks shiny if like it..
Best Bob.

Take pride in the fact that your camera looks like it's led a life of adventure! Been places, done things! Eventually you'll start to see brass through the chrome along the edges, you'll have great memories., and the photos to go with them. Or you can go the other route. Cameraleather skins are great looking and easy to put on and you can choose from any of several textures of black vinyl all the way up to exotic real snake and lizard skins in a plethora of colors. Putting on the new skin takes five minutes at most. Getting rid of the tattered remains of the original plus the old glue will take a bit longer. Give yourself an evening to devote to the job. Try the Pledge first...LOL
