Now I've got a solution for my Canon 7sz grip problem!.
Buying a FM Grip from Photo Equip and doing some little modifications,
here is the result ( see pictures). The handling of this big camera is now much more comfortable.

Very nice... looks practical. How much modification is necessary? I'm a bit of a klutz, so that's important to know. It appears you had to drill out a new hole for the tripod connector?
A reliable handle for the 7s(z) with the 0.95 is badly needed, but not readily available. This may be a good answer.
Please give us more details.

I wonder how much marketability (?) there would be for a "universal" grip. I'm thinking of a handle that would mount on a variety of bases, which would adapt to almost any camera base. Most of the adapting would involve different positions for the tripod hole in the base, and that could be recessed, so the base would be flat at the bottom.

I can visualize the design, and it's pretty simple. Made from a good aluminum stock, it should be light, and not too expensive. Anybody got the capability to make these? Anybody else think they would have a market?
