Canon A35F

First of all, this is my first post so I'm just going to Introduce my self quickly. Im a 16 year old photographer. Im self-taught and ive only been shooting for about 10 months. I wouldnt say im a novice though. I do work for a business but I dont classify myself as pro yet. I dont own a dslr yet but I dint need one. I shoot mainly film anyways.

Now, to the important part. I own a canon a35f because im interested in street photography. Carrying around my 35mm Rebel or my AE1 is reeeeeally tedious. Before I start using my a35 though, I want to find a half case for it. Can anyone help me out???? Oh, and anyone with experience with this camera, can you give me your opinions? Thanks in advance 🙂

Why do you want a half case? When you're shooting on the street, and you're near the end of a roll, a case can make the difference between getting and missing your next shot because of the extra work needed to change films.

Now onto my next point:

Before I start using my a35 though, I want to find a half case for it.

As an 18yo self taught, entirely film shooting street photographer, I would highly recommend trying it out without the case first, before you go searching for this case and finding out you don't like it and aren't going to use it - make sure you definitely want what you want before you part with your money.

I liked the A35F when I had one. Good build, decent lens on par with the Canonet 28, but auto exposure and max 400 ISO were liiting factors . With 800asa colour neg film though, the extra exposure latitude helped in some situations. The built in flash was sometimes problematic on mine.

I've got one and love it, it's my favorite camera at the moment. I do have a original half-case for it, but it's ****. Made out of cardboard, felt and some thin self adhesive film that suppose to look like blank leather, but it just keeps cracking and making a mess. also it makes the camera way to bulky. Spend money on a nice comfy leather strap instead and you'll be better off in my opinion.
