I am refurbing a Canon F-1n.
I got two bodies to exchange parts ... I want to switch the mirrors, but cannot seem to figure out how to remove it without damage.

There is one clip at that top and two on each bottom corner.
I wonder if the clip at the top is supposed to be removable, as the two bottom ones seem to be designed to be springy to force it up against the top clip.

The service manual I found does not touch on this.

Ok, soooo the word is ...
The twoclips in each bottom corner are removable, the top is somewhat riveted to the mirror plate.

They are C clips, held on by tension, and a little glue ... so they can be pulled out.

The mirror itself is adhered to the mirror plate ... three dabs of glue.

I got two of them pretty cheap as "parts" cameras ... so I don't get tooo disappointed if I fail ... all in the excitement of actually getting one of these things to work.
