Canon f.95 - R-D1s experience

Do you find that the f/0.95 messes with the R-D1's metering? My f/1.2 seems to consistenly underexpose bright scenes by about a stop (so about 0.7 given the usual highlight protection the camera applies). Not a problem as I shoot RAW but I was wondering why it might be doing this...
