i've had my canon new f-1 for about two years. it was my main camera for awhile, but the last time i shot a roll with it, after 5 or 6 perfect shots, sometimes the shutter release just won't work, then, without explanation, will again. this was never an issue before. has anyone had this problem and is there an easy fix? the battery reads as like 75% full so i don't think thats the issue, and i'm really broke so i don't wanna buy another one if i don't have to.

When the New F-1 switches to the mechanical speeds it takes more force on the shutter button to actuate the shutter. Are you sure that it does not work at all?

yeah. sometimes it works 2-3 times in a row, and then it just won't, then it may or may not again, although i think it might just be a simple battery issue now because without a battery in it doesnt seem to be an issue.
this was a very frustrating thing last roll i shot, causing me to miss some good shots, as it was never an issue in all the time i've used it before
