I just got a Canon P in excellent condition. The shutter curtain is almost perfect and it really is clean all over. Even came with the Canon Meter that seems to be spot on. I have one of those Iphone shutter speed testing tools and the slower speeds are spot on but the 1/500 second comes in at 1/428. Not bad and I’m thinking I should leave that alone. But, then again, if there’s some small adjustment to be made that could improve things…

I found a few pages talking about adjusting the slow speeds but not the high speeds and so I thought I would throw that out to this group. Any tips?

I would not necessarily trust an iphone shutter tester at that speed and a single point measurement is not ideal for a FP shutter. As has already been said, best leave it alone, it is well in spec.
