Hi,
My QL17 G-III seems to have a focusing issue. Outside, on a bright sunny day, if I focus on a vertical object such as a light pole, I realize that I can't get it lined up in the yellow patch. I would need to rotate the focusing ring a tiny bit (maybe 1 degree) more counter clockwise. I am already maxed at infinity and can't go any further but in the patch the pole is out of focus by a tiny bit.
I understand there is lateral (horizontal) adjustment that's adjustable beneath the hotshoe and can be accessed without removing the top cover. I am not opposed to removing the cover since I've done it before without much trouble, but if I am able to make this adjustment without doing so, I'd like to.
Unfortunately, I can't figure out exactly which piece I am supposed to remove and how. I looked at a few diagrams and there are at least three pieces. None of them look like screws or something that can be moved. Can anyone help me out with a really good explanation or a picture?
Thanks.
