I try to put back the top part of my canon VT after cleaning the RF. Anyone has a repair manual can help me?

I've got a manual for VI-T but not V-T. The controls are a bit different, so it might or might not help.

Actually, my friend take it apart to clean it for me but now he is too busy to put it back. I would like to do it myself if I have a scheme or picture of part assemby. I hope that there isn't much different between V and VI.

It should not have taken your friend long to put it back together if he knew what he was doing. I do not think I'd use him for repair work again! Getting the top plate back on can be tricky. I found that the top plate for the Canon 7 has to line up just right, or the shutter release will not work.

My friend is actually a mechanical genious and also a cameras expert ( certified leica tech). It's just a familly illness event that make him too busy so I don't want to bother him.

Thanks for the tips on retina IIa. Unfortunately, mine have a broken tip rachet. I will continue to post picture after I fix it.
