Canonet Hood 5

Hi!
I got a canonet ql17 GIII a month ago and Im loving it! I´m looking for filters and the Hood 5. I´ve found a few filters BUT i cant find a Hood 5, anyone know where I could get one?

The hood 4 is the same as the hood 5. I sell these from time to time, but they are hard to find, and not cheap. In Japan I have seen them sell for up to $100. Keep looking on eBay, they do come up on occasion.

I have a QL and the hood I currently use is a Canon T-50-2 . Looks to be doing the job so far. It is however just my first roll with this hood, only on # 16 so we shall see. Good luck with your search.

Robin, the OP is looking for the hood for the compact GIII version.

I had one of those hoods once, and after figuring I'd never get the camera to go with it, gave it away. Then I was gifted a GIII two weeks later. Go figure.

If nothing else, you can always get a 48mm vented hood from any of the dealers on the big auction site, or better yet, peruse an old camera shop if there is one in your area.
