so i joined he canonet club today...thanks again wayne!
my first impressions about the camera i love it, its small and has some weight to it...seems like its a good little camera...and from the pictures on the forums it seems to pack a punch

well i have a question for you all, i tried looking on the forums but really couldnt find the answer to my question,

so when i go to adjust the aperture it only closes to f16 it doesnt open back up to 1.7, but when i go and cock the shutter it will open and close normally...
is this normal for this to happen?

i aint using a battery so i dont know if that has something to do with it...
wayne said the battery check and a mode do work...so im not worried about that,
i dont know maybe im just being paranoid seeing as i havent shot a roll through it.
i was just looking at it and wondering seeing as i havent touched one these before..

and tips or suggestions are helpful...

so im reading the forums and there is so much stuff on batteries for the canon so what are the best to use i read all this stuff about wein cells, PX625 batteries and hearing aid batteries...
which one do you all prefer?

go to radio shack/the source and tell them you need a current substitute for the PX625. I forget what mine is. The replacement doesn't have the same voltage however I haven't found it to affect my shots for colour print/negative film. Transparencies / slides might be another matter.
