...with the fuji shooters and your gear lists.
i am still amazed at some of us...buying gear, selling gear, trading gear...
who had what?
who has what?
is HH still shooting fuji? and has jrocket really moved to another country and what gear did he take with him?

if you are similarly interested and feeling the urge...list you fuji gear here and maybe continue with a follow-up every now and then.

for me, i have...(1)xt20...(2) xe2...(2) xe1 bodies
lenses...16...23...23...27...50...56...55-200

X100T.
X-T1.
18mm f/2; 35mm f/1.4; 56mm f/1.2; 55-200mm f/3.5-4.8.
Fuji M adapter.
Metabones Speedbooster Ultra Nikon F adapter.

This covers probably 95% of my small-format photography and I haven't felt the urge to buy anything else for a long while.

X100F....
Love the Chrome, Acros Red filter , 1:1

Btw Joe: tried the XT20 and loved the feel in the hands, Superfast with half a click of the shutter... the photo is already there
But they did not have the new 50 f2 (75mm) the only lens I wanted
So I went for the X100F

fuji makes very nice p&s cameras...i'm waiting for a grip and thumb thingie to arrive for my xt20 and hope it makes the fit better for my small hands...

Recently moved up from the XE2 to the X-Pro2 (had the X-Pro1 before the XE2).

I really, really love the results I get but the gadzillion buttons, menus, triple functions, etc is driving me nuts. I hate, with a passion, the exposure compensation dial. My thumb is forever moving it unexpectedly. I've tried taping it to keep from accidentally moving it, didn't work. Looking for a tube of superglue now.

X100, bought when they first came out and going strong. XPro1 bought shortly after they came out and doing the same. I got the camera and the initial three lens choices at the same time. I've added a 12mm Zeiss and a 23/2 to the arsenal and am not very damn patiently waiting for the XE3 to come out. Hurry up Fuji!!

XA1 (full spectrum)
XE2
XPro 2

Samyang 8mm fisheye
Fuji 14, 18, 27, both 35s, 18-55, 55-200, 100-400.

Adapted lenses: Nikon 35AF in fuji Mount, Minox Minotar 35, Contax 50mm f1.5, Pentax 58mm f2.4, Minolta 58mm f1.2, Nikon 85mm f1.4d, Nikkor 105mm 2.5, Tamron 90mm f2.8 1:1 macro

You should grab the 32mm Zeiss before the prices jump considering they have been officially discontinued. Likely my favorite standard lens in any system... when I had it!

Figure out what functions you want to regularly use.

After that decide if you want to assign them to hard buttons.

Or setup the Q menu with the functions you want.

Or setup the My Menu with the functions you want.

After you get it configured in a way that works for you you shouldn't need to go into the menus. If you don't like all the buttons you can disable them. Hold down the button for a few seconds and the menu will pop up that lets you set its function....set it to none.

If the exposure compensation if bothering you get a thumb grip for the camera. It will feel like a wind lever and will keep your thumb away from exposure compensation. You might also turn on the digital exposure compensation display, the analog one is hard to read though Fuji made it a little better in the latest firmware.

X100F and X-T2. When I finish with this current lens sale, I'll then have 16... 27... 50... and 55-200. Later I plan to add the 35/1.4. I also have a cool little Kipon tilt adapter for mounting Nikkors on X-T2. I also have the battery grip for the X-T2, but not sure I need it. I'm going to wait to see if the 16 feels balanced on the body alone.

I've been looking at some of Fuji's cameras because of their simplicity of controls. When picking up a Nikon body (always in manual) my thumb constantly bumps the command dial above the grip, changing the shutter speed. This makes me crazy, as I've screwed up photos not noticing the change. It would be great to be able to turn off unwanted control buttons in the menu. In the case of the main command, Nikon has me looking for other cameras.

I would try gaffer tape, if that doesn't work silicone seal. Its soft and can be removed easily. I use small bits of gaffer tape (cotton base) on my cameras a lot. It comes off clean if not left on for a long period of time. So, if you try it, change it monthly and it will remove cleanly..

Fuji gear = zero! 😱

Which quite surprises me because I certainly appear to have all the other brands covered. 😀

As long as Fuji has tentacles in the pharmaceutical industry they won't sell me any photographic gear ... 🙂

X100s.

It's hard to use my Sony gear now. In fact, I sold two lenses and kept the NEX7 and A6000 and the 70-200f/4 lens.

I'm considering the move to Fuji now that I've seen the colors myself from my camera SOOC jpgs. Fun camera to shoot over spring break.

I'm thinking of selling the 12mm as I never seem to use it. I can't imagine much better than the 35 from Fuji and it's not as bulky.

Tomatoes and Cucumbers both grow in dirt.

I assumed you were a fan of the Touit draw.

Out of curiosity, gonna grab the 14? or just that Focal length thats hit and miss in your interests.
