Has anybody else had this problem? I see some references to it on LUG but nothing here. My CD had no activation code on them. Apparently some packages were sent without codes.

I emailed Phase ONe, they told me they could not give me a code and to "email" Leica. I don't see any way to email Leica.

Just looking for any info here. Has anyone found a work around?

I had a similar problem with purchase of a SanDisk CF card from Calumet. The card was being sold in a promotion including a free copy of C1 LE. The card arrived, but no promised software. I had to resolve the issue with Calumet's customer service. I would go to Leica's website, see if they have an e-mail address for product support and start with an e-mail to them.

Good luck.

Ben: Thanks. I also had a similar issue with Sandisk CF card that came with Rescue Pro. It came with a mini-disc that I could not insert in my iMac. So, I emailed the software company and they gave me an activation code to download the software. I gave them the product ID from the sandisk card?

Phase One's response troubles me a little. They should realize the problem and jump in.

Nevertheless. I went on Leica website and really, only see that email addresses are available for spare parts and other departments, but not Customer Service? I guess I will call New Jersey?

I did find an email link for tech support. I emailed Leica and got a response very quickly +- 1 hour, that I they were aware some CDs went out without act codes and would be recieving this possibly be end of day today and email to me.

Just to keep posted on this.

I actually received my code within minutes when I mailed them, including my camera's serial number.

On the back of your manual is the general support adress:

info@leica-camera.com

Is it possible that's because I'm in the States and emailed the US office? The response I got indicated the numbers had to come from Germany. I did include my serial number and the name of my dealer.

I have been unable to create a new thread, so here goes, and btw I am concerned about your issues. Does anyone here have any experience with Lightzone? Thanks for any help you can share. I used to be able to start threads but can't find the place to go. Oh well.

Just use the adresses in my posts. These guys are fast! (allowing for time zone differences I suppose, sometimes they want to be with their families...:))

My activation code was on a white label sealing th cd env shut

Jorge; Thanks. I know it should have been on the cd jacket ,but was not there. Leica has confirmed that some CD's went out without code labels. I'm now just waiting for a code by email.

I'm really anxious to have Apple add the M8 support to Aperture, my favorite image management software by far.

THanks. I'll give it a try. Nothing from Leica US as of 8:00p.
