It does glow... (3rd image/page 2) The glow you mention falls in with the topic of this 3-D thread that Joe started the other day. I think its the dark areas of the flowers next to the headstone that really make it pop from the background.

some people dread photos from cemeteries, but I dont find them problematic. I like history and check especially the years in the stones, sometimes start wondering how they heard and reacted to big news of their time..

I also noticed that effect of focus or whatever caused the pop, but somehow the almost IR-ish of the background was what I thought to describe.
