I saw on the net that Belomo Chaika 2 was equiped with Industar 69 (28mm/2.8) is it a m39 lecia mount or what?
Before that I thought that Jupiter 12 was the widest FSU lens.

heh, i persuaded seller to try Zorki4 with I-69, and he sent me photo, he didn't shot with that zorkenshtain, but...
as you can see, becouse of fewer threads on i69 the lens is mounted in 90deg position...

on the right is chaika with rigid i50.
can that film to flange distance be corrected somehow, extension rings or what....

The standard lens on the Chaika II is very sharp, but the problem with mine was the back plate of the shutter facing the film was chromeplated!!! I used to get incredible flare shooting against the light with it!!!

Good for you. We're like minds. I've eyeballed those I.69s for several months and wondered... hmmm. One needs one in hand to tinker with. *hint*nikola said:heh, i persuaded seller to try Zorki4 with I-69...
Surely Zorkicat or Oleg or somebody would know this.Shorter or longer?

Hmm.. perhaps with an appropriate adapter, we might have a less expensive 28mm LTM? Scale focus, of course....
