City of Leeds

Whilst in Leeds for work, I managed to steal an hour or so to take a few photos of the centre of the City on my Leica M8 and Zeiss 18mm f/4 wideangle lens. Here is the gallery:

Leeds Town hall is a really intriguing building, as I understand it the Architect Cuthbert Brodrick came from nothing did three “masterpieces” that being one and hardly anything else.

Nick how did you straighten the verticals in the first “town hall” shot?

Interesting Stephen - it is a strange building. I used the perspective crop in photoshop for some straightening of most of these shots given the 18mm lens does cause lines to slant quite a lot
