The other day a letter arrived in the mail. Whilst looking for some old photos, a good friend found a few old negatives of mine, that I had left with him when he would share his darkroom with me some 35 years ago. This one, from 1977, of the view along 57th St at 3 rd Ave in NYC is one of the first decent photographs I ever made. Nikkormat Ft2/35-86 Zoom, Kodak Tri-X

To Light & Love ...
With C19 present everywhere in all our lives, I have undertaken a project to revisit places through the photographs I have made over my life. This one of Paris was taken over 40 years ago when I was a teenager travelling with my family on our great European vacation. My son and I did the digital edit together.

Thanks. At first I thought it was the Woolworth Building but then started to see some differences. Love those early skyscrapers![]()
The structure to the right is the GM building. Apple's iconic glass cube and 24/7 underground store is at the foot of it.

Thank you Helen for complimenting my Paris photo. I’m happy you liked it. I such a big admirer of your life in NYC pictures, that a nod from you means a lot to me. Thanks again. Greg

I really like Melbourne Australia for its city landscapes. Melbourne is a city with an interesting style. Part European in style, part Australian with glitz and tradition at the top end of town as well as some grittiness. This is part of a series of shots I have made over the past few trips there.
