From a different perspective; the Golden River estate in Binh Thanh District, Saigon. Most of these apartments sold very quickly, absorbing gold and diamonds that had been stuffed in matrasses and buried under living room floors for many years. Epson R-D1x - Zeiss Biogon T* 2/35 ZM.

These are photos my father made in Europe during WWII. They’re in Antwerp Belgium and I believe Paris. I know the cathedral is Antwerp and believe the street scene is as well but think the carriages are in Paris. The time period would have been between 1941 and 1945.
I have several boxes of original nitrate based 35mm negatives and 6x9 glass plates and these were scanned from those negs. The camera was a Russian copy of a Leica and Russian lens.
