CLA and battery update for QL17-GIII?

Can anyone recommend a technician who offers a full CLA for the Canonet QL17-GIII and also updates the light meter to correspond to the voltage of modern batteries? Thanks.

actually, john neal here sells the batt.adapters, once you buy it it's like adjusted to new batteries... with the option of always having it back in the original shape. I'd consider it as a better option.

G'man, I plan on buying the camera in the USA and having the seller ship it directly to whoever does the CLA etc.

Do you offer a full CLA and electronics update for the GIII? I'd be thrilled to do business with an active RFF member such as yourself.

Hi G'Man, I'd also be interested in this. The last place I sent my Canonet to never returned it : (
I have a second one that I would just like to make sure everything is working right. I don't need the new battery- wein cells last about a year in it, which is better than the batteries for my X-700!

Well, I don't offer the CLA, and one lost adapter sale isn't going to break me - so I would say go for it!

As a disinterested 3rd party I would like to discuss greyhoundman's work....

I sent him a canonet 28 and canonet 17 GLIII

He did his thing in a timely manor and returned them as fast as we can expect using a third party delivery system.

If and when I have other canonets to be worked on he is the first person I would use.
