CLE repair?

I know Sherry services the CL, but where can you send a Minolta CLE when the electronics fail? Are there parts available?

Hi Ray,

check with Don. I think he has spare parts, currently (I got a bottom plate from him, and his site lists a top).

There is a guy down here in CA (Davenport), Bald Mountain I think (?), he
specializes in CL and CLEs.

Unfortunately this is a myth. The circuit board of the CLE is unique. None of the XG's meter off the film plane and in turn no XG shutter has the metering spots. As such none of the parts are interchangeable unfortunately. With the demise of Minolta altogether now even basic service has dried up in Japan. I have seen on a couple of occasions bundles of new parts for sale on Ebay. I think however the only real hope in cannibalism for the CLE devotees where no other camera can fit the bill but the rest will filter off to Voigtlanders and others to fill their needs.
