I'm looking at buying a Voigtlander Color Skopar 35mm f/2.5 PII. I've seen two versions, one with a tab to focus and the other without the tab. Looking for people's experience, especially on version without tab, as I wonder if it is difficult to focus this type due to compact size of lens. Any comments appreciated.

There are 3 versions:
1) v1 LTM, 43mm filter, no tab, 1m min focus
2) v2 LTM, 39mm filter, metal tab, 0.7m min focus
3) M version, 39mm filter, concave tab, 0.7m min focus
The first version feels a little bigger than the other two, and is therefore easier to focus without tab. The other two are so small that the tab helps. Handling-wise I feel 2) is the best, partially due to the metal tab.

I have the M version with the concave tab. I couldn't imagine focusing that tiny lens without the tab. My Nokton 50/1.5 is hard enough without a tab.
