I bought a color skoppar 2,5/35 for my Leica M6, I can not see difference between the old Summicron 2/35. It ' s a famous lens, low price and very little.
Have you ever tried this lens ?

See my gallery, Jean-Marc. I used one of these for about a year as my main lens. It's very sharp and very, very contrasty. You can save a few € on a yellow filter as you don't really need one. I've never shot any colour with this lens, I traded it for a type 4 Summicron for the extra stop (almost). I'd advise that you use the hood unless you find out of focus fingers really add to your photography 🙂

I tried this lens with Fuji Reala 50 iso colour slide, you can aslo see this picture in my website ( expo virtuelle in french).
It ' s a very famous lens, I will certainly buy a 21 mm color skoppar for christmas, I will ask father christmas 😀

Best regards

I have the pancake I and it is excellent. Very sharp and high contrast, as Mark says above no need for a yellow filter. Enjoy the lens Jean-Marc!
