Contax G1/2 Hood Caps, to buy?

I want two more because the regular caps are bitch to swap around when swapping lenses and shooting. It makes more sense to just leave the hoods on all your lenses, and have caps for them.

On Ebay they have much of "replacement" hoods; anyone have experience with them?

I have a couple black ones. They actually are pretty nice, work just fine. One thing... don't leave them in the sun (as in a hot car). The felt on the inner rim can come loose.

Those which I got off ebay are a bit brighter anodized, but they fit like the real thing. As kdemas already pointed out, the felt strip inside the rim is attached with double-sided tape that does not hold up for long. You might want to reattach the felt with some more lasting adhesive - apart from that they are good enough.

I got an original one from a second hand camera dealer in the UK, they are pretty difficult to find, and payed £25 for it... I actually thought the price was a bit over the top.

Interested to know if the cheaper ebay items are ok quality.
