Contax G1 in the dark?

How effective is the bright light on the G1 in the dark?

I know during the day the G2 has better general autofocus but... anyone care to comment?

The autofocus on the G1 is almost useless in the dark.

In moderate roomlight it is OK. I mean like in a home that has about 400 watts of light total among the lamps turned on, or with window light also.

So, in a bar or dark restaurant, not very good. Users experiences may vary.
