Contax G1

I have noticed a Contax G1 with a Sonnar 2.8/ 90 in what looks like nice clean condition. What's a fair price fo this unit? Thanks john

Having shopped for a G kit myself recently, you can get the best deal on the 90mm lens at KEH for like $130, which is cheaper than most go for on the Bay. The camera on Eway is just over $200. Together, they seem to go for a around $400-440. One thing to remember is you can check Eway for completed auctions to get an idea, although it varies so much depending on lot, description, time of week, etc. Good luck, I love my G2.

you can get lucky, I paid $200.00 NZD for my second G2 body with a 35mm on it. thats about $110.00 US I think.

Flashover - I found a mint G1 (green label) with 35mm, hood, filter and TLA200 flash a couple months ago for $375 and that seemed to be good price. A week later I picked up a second mint G2 body with 45, hood, filters and TLA200 for $375 as well - a better deal than the G1 even.

Don't know if that helps - like Adam said the deals are out there
