I believe that they did make the lens in black, but I have yet to see one. I have Ti- G2 with all the lens's and flash too. Wish I would have gotten black but it was not to be had at my camera shop.

They did, definitely are on the rare side and command a higher price than the normal titanium version. My G2 set is all Ti, so I never felt the need to look into the blacks myself. A colleague of mine has a black G2 w/ a Ti 21mm because he couldn't find a black version at a decent price. Doesn't look BAD though, just a little panda-like.

And for the camera collector, the real question now is: Ehem, ehem: Did they make a black external viewfinder for the black 21 mm G lens?

Yes on both counts- Black 21 and Black VF. The only G lens I still have, on my Black G2.
