The seller only shipped within the USA. That's what makes this cheap! When he would've shipped abroad as well, he could've gotten twice as much.

Not too sure. It's a fairly common camera, and the uncoated collapsible 50/2 Sonnar is the more common from all the Contax mount Sonnars.
Plus, this Contax II has been fitted with an aftermarket flash PC socket. Contax connaisseurs tend to stay away from such modified Contax II bodies.
Selling to some € countries would have brought the price a bit higher because of the USD drop but not that much.

You're right. I didn't see the PC socket. That would indeed bring the price down.
However, following US Ebay and various Eur Ebays for quite a while now, I'm convinced that limiting access on US Ebay to USA bidders only, greatly reduces the final selling price. I wouldn't be surprised if this would be up to 30% for classic cameras.
