Contax IIa/IIIa CLA recommendations

Radu is well-versed in quite a lot of cameras and his work and prices are both quite good.
He is very busy, though.

I actually just heard back from Radu at 3R. I thought I would post in case it's helpful to anyone needing to CLA a Contax RF in the future (given that so many of the folks mentioned earlier in this thread have retired). He quoted $225 for a CLA of the camera, and $120 for a lens, both which seem very reasonable. He didn't mention his turnaround time, though because I live in a neighboring part of Queens he invited me to his shop. Once he's back from vacation I'm hoping to take him up on it!

Radu is good to work with, he did some Alpa stuff for me a while back. Glad there is someone else willing to tackle Contax!

I sent mine to Mark Hansen. Quote was for $350 but he charged me $75 and returned it. He said he found sand inside and he couldn't guaranty he could clean it out. It's now at Ross Yerkes shop and it is costing me $175 plus shipping. Turn around time is 10 days.

Sent mine to the head bartender (CameraQuest).

They did an excellent Nikon S2 I am now enjoying.
