I would appreciate info of where to find numbers of post-war Contaxes. I have a IIIa (B95561) and a Sonnar f1.5 (1049904) and I would be interested to know their birth-dates. Anyone know of an info site?

It should be noted that this is to be taken with a grain of salt. Manufacturing and serial numbers were not quite a perfect science back then. Apparently cameras came back to the factory and were updated or reconditioned for various reasons and still sold as "new" perhaps years after the serial number lists say.
