Has anyone opened the Contax T3 lens to fix the problem with sticky lens cover blades? Any tips on how to disassemble the lens welcome! I have tried to clean it from outside with air and other tricks without luck.

i will be no help in how to dismantle ...but what always worked for me is to hold the the top blade with your finger nail as you turn it on, it always seemed to work for me.

It helped! Thanks. But it's just until next time you turn it off. Maybe I'll glue them up.

Yeah i forgot to say when you turn off they go back to the same position :/

I had this problem where the lens blades wouldn't open all the way when the camera was switched on. I sent the camera to TRITEC service GmbH in Germany. It came back in just one week and I was charged only 16,50 euros for the service. As I couldn't really understand the German letter they had sent me beforehand, I was fearing that they couldn't actually fix it, but to my surprise the camera came back perfectly working! Such an amazing service!
