When I lived the first time on Bonaire I wanted to have a Nikonos with 15mm lens and capture the early morning light striking the reef in B&W.
Many years later I returned and lived there for five years and was very active in digital underwater photography.
Now I don’t have any digital underwater gear any more but did get a hold of a marvelous Nikonos V with various lenses included the best super wide wide lens for underwater use ever.
Took it into the pool for some fun with the kids and discovered that the battery was empty :bang: so I had to guess the exposure….
Also despite the critics about scanning 35mm with a Canoscan 8800 I am very pleasantly surprised how well everything came out.
