I know. This pic gets a bit more interesting with time. 🙂

I spent only one day up there, and never went back...I remember feeling so exposed (for lack of a better word), and, believe it or not, dark thoughts about airplanes was the chief reason why. But I spent nearly the entire day there, briefly checking out the view, but mostly photographing the people up there, coming and going. Always meant to get a portfolio made of selects from that day. Only made a few Cibachromes and that was it. Then along came the digital darkroom. And, after that, 9/11. All I'll say now is that I'm putting something together from this, part of which will be seen here fiirst. (At least I finally made that portfolio.)

Is that photograph taken while he proposed? I took a self portrait when I proposed to my wife. Tricked her into thinking we were taking silouettes against sunrise. Nice to have a picture of that exact moment because I was so nervous I don't remember much.

posed but the same spot. this was the second time. First was in Central Park they and a gaggle of friends all visited NY and he asked she said yes then they had a nice fight and breakup and now all is well and they will be married July 9th
