OK, my turn I guess. Here are a couple from the Sierra foothills in California. See what you think. Both: Canon P, Canon 50/1.5, Portra 400NC.

first one :: imho the subject is to much centered and the light is quite flat, anyway, you can have a better picture with a better scan (to have more details in the sky, play with the scanner histogram)

Thanks! I was wondering whether there was enough "there" in these shots to make them interesting. I will play around w/ the first one in PS and see what I can do to make it stand out more. These shots are straight scans w/out any post-processing.

Steve, I think you caught a good film. It does not let the red parts (here the peppers hanging on the wall) stand out that much. I like it that way. 
I hope to get my first color roll with the Fed-2 finished soon. It is pouring from the sky since thursday now with nearly zero break.
