I've used Precision and have been happy with them.
I've used Indie Film Lab ( http://indiefilmlab.com ) before and I like them. They are one of the few that I've dealt with that can process Eastman Double-X 5222 (from http://filmphotographyproject.com).
I've also used PhotoVision ( http://www.photovisionprints.com/ ) and have been very happy with them too. I seem to balance the load between PhotoVision and Indie Film Lab.

Check out The Find Lab. I've never used them but their work seems top notch.
This does look very interesting! Anyone use them?
Thanks.

I have used NCPS, North Coast Photographic Service in Carlsbad, CA for several years and have been very satisfied with their work. http://www.northcoastphoto.com/
+1. They do a great job.

But unfortunately so far they don't do E6 (yet; there is an announcement of "coming soon", but no details).
@ the OP:
Have a look here:

A very detailed list of lab recommendations. For E6 labs, but lots of the recommended labs in this thread do E6, C41 and BW.
Take a little time to read it, and you will get lots of useful information.
And as for Velvia: There is not only Velvia 50, but also Velvia 100 available. Outstanding films.
Also highly recommended: Provia 100F.
Nice to see you back in film land!

I've sent test rolls of films to tons of labs and I had the best results with The Darkroom. Super-fast turnaround: the scans are always uploaded to their ftp side within 48 hours. The next day they send you the cut negatives, a DVD with the scans, a contact print plus and a note with the signature of the guy who processed it, plus a pre-paid envelop for your next order. Perfect!
Very consistent and high scan quality, nothing to complain about, and they responded to all my emails within the same day. If -- which happened rarely -- you are not happy with a scan, they'll scan it again for free.
Oh, and they're much cheaper than Northcoast and other labs as well.
Sorry to hear that, but that's not my experience at all. I have on average maybe two photos per roll with a speck of dust (easily removed with Photoshop), no drip marks ever, no scan lines.

I do NOT recommend thedarkroom.com
You get your scans back from them with very fine, but noticeable, scan lines which makes your images look like they have been printed on linen. I questioned them about this, but they never responded so they lost my business. They gave me poor quality results in other ways (weird drip marks) which they did correct after I complained, but it seemed to me that for that to go through to the customer they do not have much quality control.
Disclaimer - I only used them for 120 film.

In the past I too have praised NCPS, and have given them plenty of business. However, recently I requested they email me a file of an image they had scanned for me, and they demanded $10.
C'mon... A sawbuck for emailing me a file?
Just my experience; YMMV.

Just sent some rolls to AgX in Michigan which is apparently E6 only. Prices seem reasonable. Hope to know the results soon.

North Coast Photo have been doing great work for me for years, but I was just informed by the manager that my latest rolls of Velvia cannot be mounted.
NCPS have had trouble sourcing slide mounts for some time. Unable to find a reliable new vendor, the boss has decided not to provide slide mounts any longer.
For the time being, I will continue having my slides processed and scanned – and sleeved – there.

btw, I have been using NCPS for years and have been happy with their work. Never asked them to email me a file so no feedback there..
