CV 40/1.4 and 43->55 step up vignetting?

Will I get any vignetting with a 43->55 step up ring and a 55mm CPL on the CV40/1.4?

Shouldn't be a problem, but may interfere with the viewfinder.
You must already have a pile of 55mm filters?

If you don't mind a guess, I'd say it probably wouldn't be a problem. I can imagine the relevant dimensions to be similar to the 40's own lens hood.

Yeah, Minolta MF&AF system.

I just got the ring. Its actually not too bad as far as blocking the VF. It does block the corner 40mm marker but thats about it. Plenty fine for composition.
