Snorting silver salts
But the 35mm Nokton is great value at $900.00 (admittedly it has no competition) so few hundred more for an ultra fast (new) 50mm doesn't seem unreasonable to me. At $1500.00 I'd take it over a used Hex every time!
That's an interesting position Keith, the Hex can be had for about the same price as well, but it's signature is known while the Nokton still is shrouded in mysteries.
I say it should be pretty unbelievable before I'd trade the Hex for it, since there is hardly any serious competition for the Hex. It is fast, has near unnoticable vignetting if any at all, built like a tank and can be used as a standard lens, although it is very large as a standard.
Curious if the Nokton would improve on any of these features!
