Folks,
Just wondering on where one would send a CV lens for repair. I always wondered why my 35mm ultron pics seemed softer than my 28mm ultron pics .. . I just reviewed a bunch of recent pics from my 35mm ultron, could be front focusing or at least it seems that way wide open and close, need to test more though.

Thanks,
Ken

Thanks but ..

Thanks but ..

On his site it says ..
We no longer do lens repairs unless we are also repairing the camera body. Why? Too time consuming, and not enough good repair people.

:(

Not sure why, but lens repair often costs a lot more than you think, it is very time consuming. You might try Don over at DAG, but even there, the cost might be more than a new lens or close to it.

Run some tests with a ruler and see which way you are off. Many hear tinker with lenses all the time and might be able to help guide you.
