127 special

127 special

Those using 127 B&W have a look at
http://macodirect.de/filme-maco-c-1_6_119.html

Go deeper and it's now 16.80 for ten.

Maco are offering Jan08 127 UP100 for 10 rolls @ 16.80 Euros. The minimum oder is 40 euros so I ordered 30 rolls and with the postage to Australia it came to 61 euros (AUS$100 - US$90 - 40 quid). 3 bucks a roll. Prepare some room in your freezer. :)
I don't believe Jan08 film would die on midnight Jan 31st.

Eastcoastphoto.com has some 100' rolls at great price-
I bought Tri-X for $34.95, and they have advertised Pan F for $27.95.

Walgreens film for $0.49

Walgreens film for $0.49

I went a a local Walgreens yesterday and found their "Studio 35" 400 24exp. film on sale, two for the price of one, which came to $1.99 a roll. When I brought it up to the register, it rang up at $0.99 a roll. They also had a $0.50 off coupon attached which they allowed me to use. So the final cost was $0.49 a roll. Expiration date is 6/09.

Thank you, Marke. I will check out my local Walgreens.

edited: The local Walgreens has one roll at full cost and the second for one cent. The full cost is 2 rolls for $3.50.

digital truth has efke 400 35mm 24exp on sale for $1.79
film expires : 07/08
Anyone here tried this film? Worth it?
http://www.digitaltruth.com/store/cart/Efke-KB400-ISO-400-35mm-x-24-exp.-p-765.html

I still have some of that in my freezer. Cracklin' grain in just about every developer I tried it in but the tone can be nice. For me it seems to work best in Diafine. I understand the 'new' KB400 is rebranded AGFAPAN 400+. Some people like it some people hate it.

KB400 in Diafine:

KB400 in HC110 1:100

The one developer I did not try it in is D76.

now I'm set again with classic grain films, take my time to explore t-grain films first. heck, they never can go as cheap as these classic grain films:

2 x Kodak PLUS-X-PAN 135-3610 Filme (KPX1011P) = 39,98EUR
1 x Kodak TRI-X 400 135-3610 Filme (KTX4011P) = 24,99EUR

Yes, I apologize. But in the Milwaukee, WI store it was first roll at $3.99, and second at for one cent. Anyway, I could only get 5 rolls which included the attached coupons for another 50 cents off.

BTW, I think that on-line price that another member mentioned is the best we can expect to find, unless you find some of the rolls with the coupon attached.

I tried to order 50 rolls, but found out that the max is 36 rolls at a time.
I ordered 36 rolls and nearly got another 24 rolls, but then did not get greedy.

Yeah, the same thing happened to me. So I ordered a few of the 4-packs to get the order to $50, which is when they give you free shipping. With the 4-packs you end up paying about $1.25/roll, but that's still a great deal.

I did not see the 4-pack, so I paid postage.

This was about $5.60 + the cost of 36 rolls for about $36, plus 7.5% tax, resulting in a cost of $1.20 per roll.

I am not complaining.
