Rich, did you ever hear anything from your $5/box offer? This is the second time I offered them $5/box and they accpeted.
And BTW, I was mistaken in my last post...it was not five more I ordered, it wasTEN more boxes I ordered.

My offer was again accepted. They reduce shipping by $4 or so, so the total for 40 rolls comes out to below $20. That's less than $0.50/roll.

I just ordered 5 more boxes! I guess I'll be shooting a lot of color this spring.
Here's a few shots taken last week of Milwaukee's token female bicycle messenger. I did mistakenly underexpose a bit, so they're probably grainier than need be. But the reds come through rather well, don't you think?
I noticed the graininess too on a test roll. I rated the second roll at 80 and it came out rather well.

I have a similar experience with cheap Fujipress 800. Rated at 200-400, the film comes out awesome. Rate at 800, the results look dirty and grainy. I suspect poor storage conditions.

This is not realy an available deal, but I just got 13 rolls of expired Fuji Velvia 100 120 and 6 rolls of Agfa RSX 100 120 for 50$. They all expired in 2006 and 2007, and have been kept in fridge according to the seller.
Do I have to make adjustments to the exposure, or can I shoot at box speed?
Oh and is there a reason why I should not keep the film at subzero temperatures (freezer, probably around -4 C)? Would a regular fridge be better (+6 C i think)?

No idea on storage, but I recently shot some expired RSX100 - 4 years expired, not cold stored. Still sharp but tired - muted colours. Scanned nicely though so fine if you're not intending to project it.
