I'm looking for nice'n'cheap picture frames for my prints, 8x10 mostly. Any good sources? Or do I have to resort to a saw and a miter box?
Thanks.
Thanks.

Exposing since 1969.
Two I like:
http://www.lightimpressionsdirect.com is great for archival framing supplies
and
http://www.pictureframes.com
has some nifty wood frames and a great "Personal Frame Shop" which lets you upload a picture to preview different matt sizes and frames around it (and even lets you set the wall color).

I am looking for matted picture frames for 5x7 and 8.5x11 along these lines and am curious what you choose for frames and suppliers?
https://www.amazon.com/Americanflat-...07&sr=8-8&th=1
Preference is for "weighted-bottom" ("bottom-weighted") mats along this idea.

Whatever
I’ve been using Frame Destination out of Texas for years, and have never been disappointed with their service or products. I usually go with Nielsen frames.

Thank you for that source and suggestion Vince. I forgot all about Nielsens. I may have several on my walls but I bought them so long ago (1990's) I can't be sure. Thanks!

Real Men Shoot Film.
American Frame is very good. I have been buying from them for more than 20 years. If you like Nielsen metal frames, they custom cut them to any size and have about the lowest prices I have found for them.

I have quite a few Ikea frames and like them. Very inexpensive, with an option for upgraded mats. Worth checking out if you have one nearby.

I buy both Nielsen metal frames and wood frames from either American Frame or Frame Destination. They carry the same frames at the same prices, and they both have good shipping and service. One or the other sometimes has a sale or free shipping, so I also check both before ordering. I buy my mat board from Archival Methods and cut my own mats.
