delete vs. ban

hey gang,

just a point of info (or perhaps 2), it has been stated in another thread that i can see your ip address and yes, this is true.
if you have registered twice with different names i will know (should i check) who you (both) are.

if you are banned, you cannot re-register with the same ip address.
if you are deleted you can keep your original forum name and actually can re-register again.

should i delete you and should you decide to register again with a second name, i will be forced to ban you.

it's hard enough dealing with some of you on a bad day but multiple personalities on any day is beyond my capabilities🙂

Seems that if you are deleted you MUST re-register with the same name to avoid being banned.

i can delete one or both identities. if i delete one the other is fine to do business as usual. if banned the ip address is what is banned and the identity follows.

The person that was "deleted" on another popular thread tonight, was he deleted for "content", or deleted because he was making comments under two identities?

While I may not agree with his content, I do hope contrarian views can be expressed, however unpopular in this case.

if i need to ban someone they will get banned, over & over if necessary.

the person was informed that the deletion was due to 'multiple personalites'.

and also because of the prior posts made under the 'pepto' name (vs the pepto2 name)
