Hi guys,
I'm going to singapore this friday, for about 10 days or so ... unfortunately, though, it's not for pleasure... but I'm going to bring my M6 anyway 😀
Can you guys (Singaporeans) tell me where I can develop negative color film in Singapore?

Thanks in advance,
bob

BobPS,

I tend to look for Labs with higher turnover since the chemicals are fresher. Unfortunately, if your film isn't C41, it may take as long as a week to get it developed and printed.

The two I recommend is Ruby Photo and Konata, they are both about 50m apart in Peninsula Plaza. For Konata, they process non-c41 films on Tues and Thurs. ie. Pick up on Tues and return the prints to you on Fri morning. For Ruby, besides film processing, they are an authorised reseller of Ilford, so expect to find lots of equipment and film and developers as well.

Note that these shops tend to open arounf 11+ and close around 7pm. If you are there, I recommend you to check out Cathay Photos (A very nice camera shop with good service) and P&G Camera (for servicing and 2nd hand stuff).

Of course, there are Kodak and Fuji 1-hour labs to be found in malls too.

Another one for Konata - I like supporting labs that work at maintaining their development quality. The other outlet that does a good job is Fotohub - they are a chain operation here http://www.fotohub.com/

Ray, as much as I always support Ruby Photo as much as possible, I wasnt even aware that they develop 😱

Thanks very much ray and Craig.

Ray, fortunately my films are superia 200 and 400, and 4 rolls of TMax 100 and 400. I also plan to buy some B&W films, it's difficult to find B&W film here.
Thanks,
Bob
